Scale
Dip Ingredients
- 1 (8-oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 (15-oz) can yellow corn, drained
- 1 (15-oz) can white corn, drained
- 1 (10-oz) can diced tomatoes and green chiles, undrained
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 2 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: In a non-stick skillet, add the softened cream cheese, drained yellow and white corn, undrained diced tomatoes and green chiles, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine all the ingredients evenly.
- Cook the Dip: Place the skillet over medium heat. Cook the mixture, stirring occasionally, until it is heated through and the cream cheese has melted completely, creating a smooth and creamy dip. This should take about 8 to 10 minutes.
- Serve Warm: Once melted and warm, remove the skillet from heat. Serve the dip immediately with your choice of chips for dipping, enjoying the spicy and comforting flavors.
Notes
- For extra heat, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or chopped jalapeños.
- If cream cheese is too firm, microwave for 15-20 seconds before cooking to soften.
- Use fresh corn instead of canned for a fresher taste, but cooking time may vary.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days and reheated gently on the stovetop.
- Serve with tortilla chips, pita chips, or sliced vegetables for dipping.
