Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or casserole dish to prevent sticking and ensure easy cleanup.
  2. Layer the Tater Tots: Spread the frozen tater tots evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form the base layer of the casserole.
  3. Add the Pizza Sauce: Pour the marinara or pizza sauce evenly over the tater tots. Use a spoon to gently spread the sauce ensuring an even coverage over the layer of tots.
  4. Layer with Cheese and Pepperoni: Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce. Then layer half of the sliced pepperoni on top of the cheese. Optionally, add dried oregano and garlic powder at this stage to enhance the pizza flavor. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
