Ingredients
Scale
Main Ingredients
- 5 ounces Hot Apple Cider
- 2 ounces Fireball Whiskey
Optional Garnishes
- 1 ounce Cool Apple Cider (for glass rim)
- Cinnamon Sugar (for glass rim)
- Red Apple Slices
- Cinnamon Sticks
- Whole Star Anise
Instructions
- Prepare the Glass Rim: If using garnish, pour about 1 ounce of cool apple cider onto a small plate and dip the rim of your glass into it to moisten the edge.
- Apply Cinnamon Sugar: Place cinnamon sugar on a separate clean plate, then coat the wet rim of the glass thoroughly with cinnamon sugar for a sweet, spiced rim.
- Add Fireball Whiskey: Carefully pour 2 ounces of Fireball Whiskey into the glass, ensuring you do not disrupt the cinnamon sugar rim.
- Pour Hot Apple Cider: Add 5 ounces of hot apple cider to the glass. The heat will help mix the drink naturally, blending the spicy whiskey with the cider.
- Prepare Apple Garnish: Stack three thinly sliced red apple slices on a cocktail pick, fanning them out. Position the pick so the fan rests slightly off-center on the front edge of the glass.
- Final Garnishes: Place a cinnamon stick on the opposite side inside the glass from the apple fan and add a couple of whole star anise pods for aromatic decoration. Serve immediately and enjoy your warm, spicy cider!
Notes

- Adjust the amount of Fireball Whiskey to taste depending on your preferred strength.
- Apple slices and star anise not only garnish the drink but also add aroma.
- This drink is perfect for fall and winter gatherings as a cozy, warming cocktail.
