Description

Delicious and easy-to-make Chicken Roll Ups featuring tender cooked chicken wrapped in flaky crescent rolls, topped with a creamy cheddar and cream of chicken soup sauce. Perfect for a comforting family dinner ready in just 35 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

Chicken Roll Ups

  • 6 oz cooked chopped chicken breast (approximately 1 to 1-1/2 cups)
  • 1 (8-oz) can refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 (10.5-oz) can unsalted cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  2. Prepare Sauce: In a bowl, mix together the milk, cream of chicken soup, and shredded cheddar cheese until well combined; set aside.
  3. Assemble Roll Ups: Separate the crescent rolls into 8 triangles. Place the chopped chicken on the large end of each crescent triangle and spoon about 1 teaspoon of the soup mixture over the chicken. Carefully roll up each crescent roll starting from the wide end.
  4. Layer in Dish: Spread about 1/3 cup of the soup mixture evenly on the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Arrange the assembled crescent roll ups in the dish in a single layer. Pour the remaining soup mixture evenly over the top of the rolls.
  5. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the rolled crescents are golden brown and the topping is bubbly and heated through.

Notes

  • Ensure chicken is fully cooked before chopping and assembling.
  • You can substitute cheddar cheese with mozzarella or a cheese blend if preferred.
  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of black pepper or garlic powder to the soup mixture.
  • This dish pairs well with a fresh green salad or steamed vegetables.
  • Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven.
