Ingredients
Scale
Chicken Roll Ups
- 6 oz cooked chopped chicken breast (approximately 1 to 1-1/2 cups)
- 1 (8-oz) can refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1 (10.5-oz) can unsalted cream of chicken soup
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Prepare Sauce: In a bowl, mix together the milk, cream of chicken soup, and shredded cheddar cheese until well combined; set aside.
- Assemble Roll Ups: Separate the crescent rolls into 8 triangles. Place the chopped chicken on the large end of each crescent triangle and spoon about 1 teaspoon of the soup mixture over the chicken. Carefully roll up each crescent roll starting from the wide end.
- Layer in Dish: Spread about 1/3 cup of the soup mixture evenly on the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Arrange the assembled crescent roll ups in the dish in a single layer. Pour the remaining soup mixture evenly over the top of the rolls.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the rolled crescents are golden brown and the topping is bubbly and heated through.
Notes
- Ensure chicken is fully cooked before chopping and assembling.
- You can substitute cheddar cheese with mozzarella or a cheese blend if preferred.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of black pepper or garlic powder to the soup mixture.
- This dish pairs well with a fresh green salad or steamed vegetables.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven.
