Ingredients
Scale
Monkey Bread
- 2 cans (16.3 oz each) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 2 cups cooked chicken breast (shredded or diced)
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
- 1 cup jarred or homemade Alfredo sauce, divided
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Nonstick cooking spray for greasing
Instructions
- Prepare the Oven and Pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a bundt pan thoroughly with nonstick cooking spray to ensure easy removal of the bread after baking.
- Cut and Toss Biscuit Dough: Cut each biscuit dough into quarters. In a large mixing bowl, toss these biscuit pieces with the melted butter, minced garlic, salt, and pepper, making sure each piece is evenly coated with flavors.
- Add Chicken and Cheese: Add the cooked chicken breast, shredded mozzarella cheese, and half of the grated Parmesan cheese to the bowl. Gently mix in three-quarters of the Alfredo sauce, stirring just until everything is evenly combined without breaking the biscuit pieces.
- Layer in Bundt Pan: Transfer the mixture into the prepared bundt pan. Press down lightly to help compact the dough and fillings, which will help the bread hold its shape once baked.
- Bake: Place the bundt pan in the preheated oven and bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the monkey bread is golden brown on top and fully cooked through.
- Rest and Invert: Remove the pan from the oven and allow the monkey bread to rest for 10 minutes. Then carefully invert the pan onto a serving plate to release the bread.
- Add Final Touches and Serve: Drizzle the remaining quarter cup of Alfredo sauce over the top of the monkey bread. Sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley for garnish. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- Rotisserie chicken works well for a quick and easy option.
